Lady Bird loves other dogs and has never met a stranger; she is up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

Say hi to Lady Bird.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Lady Bird, a one to two-year-old female Catahoula/Cur mix.

“This sweet girl is good with other dogs, kids and strangers,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She walks well on a leash, knows basic commands and enjoys riding in a car.”

Lady Bird also loves to play fetch.

“She is a very energetic dog breed that will need a big yard to run in or someone who will take her for long walks,” Serena said.

Lady Bird needs some additional potty training, but is a fast learner.

She doesn’t like to be left alone nor does she do well with cats or livestock.

Lady Bird is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.

Domino is a two to three-year-old male domestic longhair.

Meet Domino.

“This handsome cat is the most lovable boy,” Serena said. “He wants to be held and will make biscuits the whole time.”

Domino is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
