Located inside the historic First National Bank building on the Erath County courthouse square, Julianne’s is the epitome of elegance, and this time of year, there’s no shortage of holiday cheer.
The design and lifestyles shop not only is festively adorned with all things Christmas, it is stocked with unique gifts you can’t find just anywhere else.
I met with owner Julie Thomas last week and she told me about some of her favorite products she is carrying this holiday season.
“The wooden bowl candles are one of our best-sellers, and we also have refill kits,” she told Beneath the Surface News.
Julianne’s specializes in home décor so many of the products it carries is aimed at adding uniquely inspired special touches to rooms and table settings.
Think stylish bowls, platters and decanters by Jan Barboglio (absolutely stunning!) and artwork by local artist Jennifer Holden.
“I look for things that are entrepreneurial and American made,” Julie said. “Several items we carry can only be found at places like Neiman Marcus.”
ANIMATED MUSIC BOXES AND MORE
Animated music boxes were one of last year’s customer favorites and they are making a return.
“We have a nativity scene that is animated and plays music; it’s just gorgeous,” Julie said. “And I always love the floral we get in. I pride myself on finding floral that is good quality and easy to pack away each year.”
Holiday centerpieces can be purchased on-site or custom-made.
“Customers can come in and pick out what they want and we will put it together for them,” Julie said. “Floral can also be purchased by the stem.”
Julianne’s also carries an array of Capri BLUE home fragrances and candles, luxurious bath and spa products by Antica Farmacista (my favorite!) and gorgeous macrame coasters.
With more than a decade of interior design experience, Julie leads a team of designers that will freshen up your home or give it an entirely new look.
“Each project is different and we customize our packages to fit our clients’ needs,” she said.
