Jazz combo, outdoor dining and great wine coming next weekend with Concerts on College Street.

Updated: Nov 19, 2020

Make plans now to attend a jazzy new event happening next weekend in Stephenville.

Concerts on College Street will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.

The event is spearheaded by Lisa Pendleton, owner of Hearsay Wine Bar, and will include music by the Tarleton Jazz Faculty Combo featuring Andrew Stonerock on tenor saxophone, Tom Burchill on guitar, Wade Girton on piano, Kyp Green on bass and Chris Pitts on drums.

Newton’s Cellar will be open for dinner that night and will set up a few tables outside.

“We are really excited to take part in this event,” Melanie Newton told Beneath the Surface News. "We will serve complimentary appetizers for the tables outside, and of course, we encourage reservations.”

Those who don’t plan to dine downtown are invited to bring lawn chairs and listen to music and enjoy the pre-holiday festive event.

College Street will be blocked off to thru-traffic that evening.

The Law Offices of Brady Pendleton and Beneath the Surface News are title sponsors.
