Summer is in full swing and there’s still time to get your kiddo registered for a summer camp and vacation Bible School.
If dancing is your childs thing, check out the offerings at Stephenville Dance Center.
Tarleton State University is hosting a slew of great camps from ag, choir, theatre and cheer to drumline and every sport you can imagine.
The university is making it easy for parents and guardians to check out the camps by clicking here.
Here’s a look at what else is on the horizon:
Campsville
June 15-18.
Theatre, mock trial and ceramics are offered.
Theatre will produce Dinostars! a short play about dinosaurs putting on a talent show.
Campers will perform the 20-minute show on Thursday at 5:15. They will sew costumes, make props and set pieces that will all be showcased in the big show.
Mock Trial campers will prepare for "The Case of the Museum Mishap."
They will investigate and prepare defense and prosecution cases to sway a jury if the students that visited the museum are guilty of destroying the dinosaur skeleton display.
Ceramics campers will make a variety of dinosaur themed ceramic pieces (space is very limited.)

All day campers are invited to bring a lunch and eat lunch at camp.

4-H Summer Sewing 2-Day Camp

Two sessions: 9-12 p.m. 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $40
Ages: 8-14
Come learn the basics of sewing machine safety, how to sew simple projects and other introductory skills in this camp that is perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike.
Participants will learn as they go, making simple but fun projects to take home and one community service project to donate back to their community.

CTFAC presents “Art Camp”
June 22-25 (9 a.m.-noon) at Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council
For boys and girls ages 7-12 years old
Cost $150 (Limited scholarships available)
Learn elements of art design, work with different media such as clay, watercolors, acrylics and collage.
Create up to 12 unique take-home art projects, sketches and practice papers. Students will also receive a sketchbook, T-shirt, pencils and portfolio. Refreshments will be provided.
