Hearsay Wine Bar is using its creativity to get you out of the house and into some happiness on Wednesday.

“We know everyone is ready to get out and enjoy this nice weather, so we are offering drive-thru service on ‘Wine Wednesday,’” said Hearsay owner Lisa Pendleton. “It’s the perfect time to stock up for Easter and enjoy happy hour on your back porch.”

Hearsay is located on College Street.

Wine enthusiasts can pre-order wine by the bottle by texting 817-715-1682. Orders will be filled and ready for curbside pickup from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday.

“Customers will never leave their cars,” Pendleton said.

And with Easter Sunday just a few days away, there might even be a special guest. (Hint: It hops and has big, floppy ears.)

A QUICK GLANCE OF THE MENU

Hearsay offers more than 45 varieties of wine for sale. You can check out the full menu on Hearsay’s Facebook page, but are a few customer favorites.

Let’s start with whites, and since Chardonnay is my favorite, I’ll be ordering a bottle or two of Merf ($31).

If you are feeling fancy, consider splurging on a bottle of Cakebread ($115). You won’t be sorry.

You can also pick up a bottle of Four Graces Pinot Gris ($40), Becker Vineyards Dry Riesling ($22) or Chloe Pinot Grigio ($32).

REDS

Looking for something a little bolder? Try one of my favorites - the Conundrum Red Blend ($60). Troublemaker Red Blend ($32) is also worth a try.

When it comes to Cabernet Sauvignon, Hearsay has no shortage of great choices. Check out the Decoy Cabernet ($60), Rodney Strong Cabernet ($40) and Caymus ($150).

And, of course, there are other great choices like Bogle Petite Sirah ($30), Bull Lion Texianti ($50) and Angry Bunch Zinfandel ($28).

BUBBLES

Turn your evening (or day drinking) into a celebration with a glass or three of something bubbly!

You can’t go wrong with Lucky Vines Cordelia ($45), Lunetta Prosecco ($37) or Mumm Napa Brut Prestige ($40).

Quarantining is hard. You deserve a nice bottle of wine to help you cope. Let Hearsay Wine Bar located on College Street in Stephenville help you manage these difficult days.
