How to make the Hallmark Channel’s pumpkin white hot chocolate.

I follow the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas Facebook page because, well, I love Christmas.
Like as much as I love my kids.
When I saw this recipe for pumpkin white hot chocolate pop up, I had to try it.
And it was so good I thought I would share it with you.
If you are a little extra about Christmas like I am, order a Hallmark Christmas movies mug to sip from this holiday season.

WHAT YOU NEED
2 cups whole milk
2 cups half and half
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
12 oz white chocolate, chopped (a 12 oz. bag of white chocolate chips can also be used)
Cinnamon stick and whipped cream to garnish; optional
HOW TO MAKE IT
Whisk together all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat and cook until it just starts to bubble.
Add chopped white chocolate and stir until completely melted; adjust flavors as needed.
Pour into mugs and garnish with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.
Now, turn on the Hallmark Channel, cuddle up and sip.
