Hope convoy with hay and feed headed to Erath County Saturday to help victims of Big L wildfire.

Rancher Navy is scheduled to arrive at the Erath/Hamilton County line between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Saturday to assist victims affected by the Big L wildfire.

The hope convoy will travel north on 281 to Stephenville, then east on 377 to CR 148. The convoy will end at the Houston Ranch.

The Houston Ranch and the Big L have worked to coordinate volunteers and donations for feed, hay and supplies.

With an estimated 100 vehicles and 30 semi-trucks, residents should be aware of increased traffic on Hwy. 281 between Stephenville and Hico and Hwy. 377 to CR 148 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
