The start of the holiday shopping season gets officially underway this weekend and local businesses are offering their best deals of the year with mega-savings on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
I spoke with several local business owners this week who gave me the scoop on all those sales (and they are pretty spectacular!)

CHEERFUL HEART
Things will be bustling at Cheerful Heart this Friday and Saturday when the Stephenville retailer offers 50% off Consuela totes and 30% off other Consuela items, 20% off clothing, 25% off Kendra Scott fine jewelry and 30% off Kendra fashion jewelry.
And if you spend over $200, you’ll get a free gift (while supplies last). Shoppers will be entered into a drawing with every purchase.
THE HOME PLACE AND DOWELL ACE HARDWARE
Stop by The Home Place on Friday for a flash sidewalk sale that will include closeouts on Christmas décor, trees and much more!
The savings will continue on Saturday at Ace with a storewide bag sale: Shoppers will receive a bag and 20% off regular-priced items and 10% off power tools and appliances that fit inside.
How fun is that?!
There will also be door prizes and refreshments while you shop!
VENTURE 19
Stop by Venture 19 to receive 25% off regular-priced items and up to 50% on doorbusters!
There will also be HUGE savings on items that have previously been marked down.

LUCKY VINES VINEYARD AND WINERY
Finally, when you’re all worn out and your feet can’t carry you through another store, head to Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery where great deals are happening all weekend long,
Think 30% off wine by the case (12 bottles) and 20% off six bottles.
All winery merchandise will be 15% off and tanks will be 40% off.
Lucky Brewing will have fajita tacos from 1-7 p.m. Friday and a sale on glasses (buy 3 get 1 free).
Hats and growlers will be $3 off and koozies will be $5.
Oh, and when you buy a gift card for $25 or more, you’ll receive a free beer on site.
