Hey kids! Tell your parents you want this Pizza Spaghetti Casserole. (They will like it too.)

This fun and delicious casserole is perfect for the entire family. It's the kind of meal that will make you want to break out Monopoly and follow up with a game night.

WHAT’S IN IT

1 package spaghetti

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup milk

1 egg

1 package sliced pepperoni

Pasta sauce (recipe below) or use jar

1 can diced Italian style tomatoes (16 ounce)

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 dried oregano

1 8-ounce package of Italian cheese blend

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Add any toppings desired

HOW TO MAKE IT

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9x13 baking dish.

Cook spaghetti, drain and transfer to baking dish.

In large skillet, cook ground beef and drain any excess fat off.

Whisk milk, and egg together in a bowl; pour over spaghetti. Add pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic and oregano and mix well.

Spread ground beef over spaghetti mixture and top with 1/2 of the pepperoni.

Sprinkle Italian cheese over pepperoni and top with remaining pepperoni and Parmesan cheese.

Bake until cheese is browned and bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.

HOMEMADE PASTA SAUCE


3 8-ounce cans of tomato sauce

1 tsp basil

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder


Heat all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
