A new event is coming to Erath County that will give all of you magicians, rappers, comedians, musicians and dancers a chance to show off your talent.

Cross Timbers Got Talent is an America’s Got Talent-style event featuring 10 acts that will raise money for Restoration Place, a shelter for women and children fleeing domestic abuse.

The event will be held on Friday, May 6, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County.

“We are an organization with a mission for every woman in an unsafe home to have the confidence, as well as the resources, to independently support herself and her children,” Kim Lewallen told Beneath the Surface News. “To that end, we have established a safe haven in Erath County called Restoration Place, where survivors of family violence can live in safety as they restore their lives to health and happiness.”

Tickets to Cross Timbers Got Talent are $20 each and can be purchased at the door. Food trucks will open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7.

If you’re interested in taking part in this exciting event, you will first have to audition.

Auditions will be held at 5:30 p.m. March 24 and 25 at the church.
