Make your kids happy (and the adults in your life too) with this recipe for Monster Cookies.

I mean, if you are going to eat a cookie, you might as well go big, right?

This mouth-watering snack is just what you need to celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year.

Make a batch and send one in your child’s lunchbox or have some ready when they come home from school next week.

They are delicious.

WHAT’S IN IT

1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

1 stick butter, room temperature

3 large eggs

4 cups of quick cooking oats

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup plain M&M’s

HOW TO MAKE IT

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat cookie sheet with non-stick spray.

In large bowl, combine peanut butter with the sugars and butter, using electric mixer until well combined.

Add eggs, vanilla, oats and baking soda, then stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s.

Spoon dough onto cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
