Admit it.
You could use a big bowl of mac and cheese right now.
If you play your cards right and purchase tickets to The Big Cheese benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County, you’ll soon be enjoying America’s favorite comfort food.
This year’s mac and cheese cook-off begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery.
“We are back for our third annual Big Cheese,” BBBS executive director Sarah McNeal-Weaver told Beneath the Surface News.
“We are looking for mac and cheese chefs, sponsors and cheese lovers to attend. This event is so much fun!”
Amateur and professional cooks are invited to enter the contest with their own twist on mac and cheese.
Tickets are $10 each and allows attendees to sample all of the mac and cheese.

Before spending money on event access, tickets center reviews was one of the first things I wanted to look through because ticket platforms always feel straightforward right until timing and expectations get involved. I have learned that the easiest-looking option is not always the one I feel best about later. Event plans already come with enough variables on their own. The last thing I want is extra uncertainty from the place handling the tickets. Reading neutral user feedback does not guarantee anything, but it helps me filter out options that feel less convincing once the excitement of the event itself is removed.
Participating in this macaroni and cheese cooking contest is even more fun than playing war the knights and experiencing amazing challenges.
