Special to Beneath the Surface News The public is invited to an evening of enchanting music at the 44th annual Charles and Cynthia Rives Masterworks Concert, a cherished tradition that unites the Tarleton Choral Program, Cross Timbers Civic Chorale and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.


The program centers on Handel's Messiah, a masterpiece that has moved audiences for centuries.

This oratorio, with its majestic choruses and profound solos, remains one of the most revered works in choral repertoire. Experience the power and beauty of Handel's composition, brought to life by talented musicians.


They will also be performing a selection of beloved carols and holiday tunes. These timeless melodies, familiar to many, will kindle the spirit of the season.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Auditorium.
