I have been dying to make these miniature chili cheese dogs; I’ve had the recipe saved on TikTok for months.
And I finally had the chance last Saturday.
It was a football-watching day with friends, so I bought all the ingredients I needed to make these cute appetizers - and they didn’t disappoint.
I made two big pans of them in no time and they were scarfed down in minutes.
If you like hot dogs and chili on a fall day, give this recipe a try.
It’s a crowd-pleasing dish I’ll have on repeat.
WHAT YOU NEED
Hormel chili (next time I will make homemade)
Hawaiian rolls
Lil’ smokies
Butter
Garlic powder
Shredded cheese
Onion, diced
Sliced jalapenos

HOW TO MAKE THEM
Lightly spray a 9x13 inch pan to keep the bread from sticking.
Cut out a small slice in each roll to make room for the Lil’ smokie.
Melt ½ stick of butter and garlic powder; brush the mixture over each roll, making sure to get some in the center.
Stuff each roll with a smokie, top with chili, cheese, onion and a slice of jalapeno.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until everything is melty and lightly browned.
Enjoy!

These mini chili cheese dogs look like an amazing choice for a football gathering. The combination of chili, cheese, and jalapenos sounds delicious, and I like how easy the recipe is to prepare for a group.
