It’s time for dinner and we're making crispy smash dumplings with ground chicken and cabbage.
They are so good!

WHAT YOU NEED
1 lb. ground chicken
1 clove minced garlic
3 tbsp ginger, peeled and minced
1 cup green cabbage, finely shredded
3 scallions chopped
1 egg
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
1 package wonton wrappers
4 tbsp avocado oil
1 cup shredded cabbage, for serving
HOW TO MAKE IT
Mix ingredients for the dumpling sauce and set aside
To make the filling, add ground chicken, garlic, ginger, cabbage, scallions, egg, salt, pepper, sesame oil, and soy sauce to a bowl and mix; in a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch with two tbsp water and tadd to meat mixture
Preheat a large pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp oil.
Working in batches, place the dumplings meat side down on the pan, press with a spatula to flatten the meat and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp; repeat, adding oil to the pan before each batch
Serve dumplings with shredded cabbage.
