It’s been four heartbreaking years since John and Carrie Sackett lost both daughters in a horrific car accident in Morgan Mill.

The accident that claimed the lives of five-year-old Codie and nine-month-old Charli Sackett and seriously injured their mother happened on Dec. 3, 2018.

Now, the couple is seeking in vitro fertilization treatment with the hope of having another child.

Diamond Dunn has organized a GoFundMe page with the hope of raising $30,000.

“Over the years Carrie and John have continued to keep their faith in God and count their blessings," Diamond wrote. “They decided that they still wanted to add more blessings to their family and have been trying to conceive They have (sought) other routes with multiple IUI treatments and all efforts have been unsuccessful. Carrie and John have chosen to take the next big step and go for IVF fertility treatment, but in order for them to do that they will need our help.”

IVF treatments are expensive, costing about $30,000.

One generous donor helped reach the goal, but more money is needed to cover the cost travel and other expenses associated with the treatment.

John Sackett told Beneath the Surface News the couple is grateful for the support and generosity.
