First Financial Bank hosting event to help small local businesses succeed in growing market.

First Financial Bank Stephenville is hosting an event aimed at helping small local businesses navigate an ever-changing market.
The free event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at City Hall at City Limits.
“This will be a great opportunity for our locals to network and hear valuable information that relates directly on their ability to thrive in the small business world,” Regional COO Vickie Pettit told Beneath the Surface News. “Stephenville is growing; therefore, we want to make sure we are delivering all the necessary tools for our local businesses to succeed.”
Vicki Nivens, owner of Hard Eight BBQ, Hotel Lucy and The Pearl Boutique, will kick off the event with a talk about her pathway to success.
Other speakers will touch on specific areas of marketing in a digital world, how to protect your business against fraud and how to utilize banking products to help companies become more efficient.
“To ensure a fun time, we will have lots of food, drinks and door prizes,” Pettit said.
