Energetic ‘escape artist’ and shy kitten up for adoption at Erath County Humane Society.
This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Concho, a four-year-old male Catahoula mix.
“He is a super energetic guy,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He loves playing with toys and tug of war is his favorite.
“He is an escape artist and can scale fences. He does okay in a kennel as long as he isn't left in there too long.”
“He has been at the shelter since February and is a little stressed in this environment,” Serena said. “He would probably do best in a home without a lot of chaos.”
Concho is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped.
Dez is a four-month-old domestic shorthair cat that is shy, but affectionate.
He is litter box trained and also needs a home.
The ECHS recently transported 30 dogs to rescue shelters in Colorado, Idaho and Utah, but 67 dogs and 95 cats still remain.
