If it’s a plate of delicious Mexican food followed by a frozen margarita you’ve been craving, you’re in luck!
El Corral Restaurant is set to open its second location tomorrow (as in in Thursday, July 3).
Doors open at 11 a.m.
“Be among the first to experience our brand-new space, familiar flavors and all the heart you know and love,” a Facebook post announcing the soft opening states.
El Corral 2 is located at 2847 W. Washington Street in Stephenville, where Shooterz used to be.
“We have gotten to the point where we have long wait times, so when this building became available on the other side of town, we didn’t hesitate to sign the lease,” Carolina Medrano told Beneath the Surface News.
Carolina, her husband Santos Medrano and the couple’s business partner Juan Flores, opened El Corral as a supermarket in 2021 before transitioning a portion of the building into a small restaurant and bar.
Now, the trio is expanding again.
The new location will offer the same authentic Mexican food its fan base loves with a few new dishes like grilled nachos, Mexican steak, Hawaiian fajitas and chiles rellenos.
Of course, it’s impossible to enjoy Mexican food without a margarita and El Corral specializes in great cocktails as well.
“Our customers love fancy cocktails with the good stuff, so we will also be expanding our cocktail menu,” Carolina said.
A couple of El Corral’s most famous margs include The Siesta, a two-tiered creation that includes a delicious (and very large) strawberry margarita with a second layer (in a separate glass) of mangonada.
The cocktail is topped with a Coronarita, tamarindo straw and small bottle of Jose Cuervo.
The bar also serves other specialty cocktails like whisky sour, Mexican martinis, Micheladas with shrimp, sangria, wine and beer (you can even get a bucket).
El Corral is open seven days a week.
Its weekend menu includes dishes you won’t find anywhere else like menudo and lamb and beef barbacoa.

Restaurant expansions often signal success and growth, especially when owners invest in opening additional locations. Still, success depends on how well operations are maintained consistently across branches. When browsing https://sparkletts.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, one sees similar concerns about consistency but in water delivery and subscription services. Customers often highlight delivery schedules, billing issues, or product satisfaction as major factors influencing their loyalty. Both restaurants and utility services can benefit from such consumer insights, ensuring new ventures are managed with reliability and customer care.
