Designer purse bingo: Tickets to Heroes with Handbags on sale now. Event raises money for fight against child abuse.

Heroes with Handbags Erath County is a really fun event that raises money for a very serious cause: The fight against child abuse.
This year’s event, hosted by the Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center, will be held on Thursday, May 23, in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms on the campus of Tarleton State University.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and bingo begins at 6.
“This exclusive event is aimed at helping the fight against child abuse,” event coordinator Lauren Rishel told Beneath the Surface News. “We will play bingo for 15 designer handbags while our first responders model them.”
Advance tickets are $125 and can be purchased here. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $150.
Raffle tickets for a $1,200 Gucci Marmont leather super mini will be sold at the event for $50.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available:
Designer Sponsor $2,500: 2 tables of 8; advertisement at the event, in the program and on social media; logo signage at the event; 1 drink ticket for each guest; 2 tickets for each guest for 2 door prize drawings; a special drawing for the designer sponsor tables only and a bottle of champagne and snacks on each table.
Vogue Sponsor $1,000: 1 table of 8; advertisement at the event, in the program and on social media; logo signage at the event; 1 ticket for each guest for 2 door prize drawings and a bottle of champagne on the table.
Handbag Sponsorships: $250 or $500 donation for purchase of a handbag.
