The Concerts in the Park series will continue Thursday, June 29, with a performance by John Frinzi at 7 p.m. followed by Mac McAnally at 8 at Stephenville City Park.

Frinzi’s music is described as a blend of folk, pop and country delivered with “a sunny, laid-back beach vibe."

McAnally, who was the guitarist in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, is known for hits like Down the Road, Minimum Love and It’s a Crazy World.

Doug Montgomery, founder of the summer concert series (and who the stage is named after), told Beneath the Surface News that McAnally performed in the park about five years ago.

“And it was one of the best shows we have ever had,” he said.

Thursday’s concert is free to attend; all you have to do is bring lawn chairs, blankets and an ice chest (and maybe some bug spray).

Here’s a look at what’s coming next:

JULY 4 - Max and Heather Stalling, Lee Roy Parnell and Larry Joe Taylor.

JULY 13 – Don Mclean.

JULY 27 - Davin James opening for the Bellamy Brothers.

See you there!
