Concert featuring classic and pop music to benefit Stephenville’s community garden.
First Christian Church in Stephenville is hosting a concert to raise money for a community garden that was started last year.
“The garden has produced over 180 pounds of vegetables and herbs, which were distributed to food banks in Erath County,” volunteer Dianne Swanson told Beneath the Surface News.
The concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, at the church.
Four musicians from the Metroplex will perform classic and pop music; Andrew Kwon on violin, Hana Kim on viola, Hamin Kim on cello and Wonhye Kim on piano.
The concert is free to attend, but donations to continue funding the garden will be accepted.
