Cat that will steal your food and dog that likes to lounge around are this week’s featured pets.

Autumn

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Autumn, a two-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“She is a very sweet girl that loves to cuddle and play,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She does well with children and other cats, but is not sure about dogs.”

When Autumn is around, you’ll want to keep an eye on your food because this sweet cat will swipe it if she gets the chance.

Autumn is microchipped and litter box trained.

Lacey

Lacey is a four-year-old female Catahoula Cur mix.

“She was adopted from us and returned because there was too much going on in her new home and it stressed her out,” Serena said. “Lacey is great with kids, but prefers to be around male dogs rather than females and she doesn’t like cats.”

Lacey is described as a “couch potato,” but is house trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.

She also rides well in a car and walks on a leash.

If you would like to meet Autumn, Lacey or the other 72 dogs and 19 cats that need homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
