A candidate running for school board is hosting a meet-and-greet next week at Hard Eight BBQ.
Matt Miller is running for place 7 on the Stephenville ISD board of trustees and is asking for your vote.
He is inviting residents to stop by Stephenville’s most famous restaurant from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, to ask questions about his candidacy and meet his family.
Miller, 39, is a financial advisor with Edward Jones and longtime resident of Stephenville.
He graduated from Stephenville High School in 1999 and Tarleton State University in 2003 with a degree in business.
“I’m at a place in my life and in my career where I am afforded the opportunity to give back. I hope to make a positive impact on the future of our amazing community, and I believe that starts with our children,” he said. “That is why I am running for school board. I would be humbled to have your vote.”
