Bluff Dale ISD student ‘in custody’ after allegedly making terroristic threat against school.
A student at Bluff Dale ISD has been arrested for allegedly making a threatening statement against the school.
Erath County Sheriff Matt Coates would not say what kind of threat the student made citing the ongoing investigation.
The student was arrested on Tuesday and charged with making a terroristic threat. The case will be sent to the Erath County district attorney’s office for review.
“He is in custody,” Coates told Beneath the Surface News.
A press release about the incident stated that Bluff Dale ISD officials, upon learning about the threat, took immediate action to “ensure the safety of both students and faculty at Bluff Dale ISD.”
