In celebration of National Health Center Week, AccelHealth welcomed Giovanni Catanzaro, North Texas deputy regional director for Senator Ted Cruz, to its newly-remodeled clinic in Stephenville.
The visit was a testament to the essential role that community health centers play in providing accessible, quality healthcare to underserved populations across Texas.
Joining Mr. Catanzaro on the tour were prominent figures in the health community, including Rachel Gonzalez-Hanson from the National Association of Community Health Centers and Shelby Tracy from the Texas Association of Community Health Centers.
The delegation was warmly received by AccelHealth’s CEO Esther Taylor alongside board members Charlie Robitaille and Kathy Wellman and Emily Brooks, director of compliance and safety.
During the visit, the group engaged in meaningful discussions about the critical services that community health centers like AccelHealth provide, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
“It was a pleasure to host Mr. Catanzaro and showcase the dedication and impact of our team,” Taylor said. “Community health centers are the backbone of primary care in many communities and we are proud to contribute to the health and well-being of Texans.”
