Women’s group donates goody baskets to ‘hometown heroes.’
The women of Teha Lanna chapter of DAR are spreading goodness to “hometown heroes.”
Literally.
The ladies were busy Thursday delivering baskets filled with homemade cookies, gum, mints, popcorn and other goodies to places like Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic, Texas Health Harris Methodist Stephenville Hospital, Convenient Care Family Medicine Clinic and Stephenville Police Department.
“We wanted to do something nice for the people who are stepping up and doing the things the rest of us can’t do,” said member and event coordinator Rita Cook.
