I knocked something off my bucket last night: We caught Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert at the Moody Center in Austin.
And it was fantastic!
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. I wanted to hear Mariah and her famous voice belt out the holiday classics and enjoy a night out on the town.
But the concert surpassed our expectations.
The production was spectacular with an amazing set design, fantastic dancers and choreography and all of the holiday music you would expect.
Mariah belted out all of her Christmas classics like All I Want for Christmas is You, Christmas Time in in the Air Again, O Holy Night and Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
She even tossed in a few of her top hits for good measure.
And the crowd loved it; nearly everyone was showing off their Christmas spirit by wearing Santa hats and sparkles.
The good news is that it’s not too late to catch her concert.
She is also performing at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
And yes, tickets are still available.
