Warm up on a chilly night with stuffed pepper soup. (And it’s so easy to make!)



This one-pot soup is not only easy to make, it’s affordable, healthy and absolutely delicious!


Oh, and since it’s made with two pounds of ground beef, it’s hearty and filling.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED


2 lbs. ground beef


4 cups beef broth


1 can tomato sauce


1 can diced tomatoes


2 cups green bell peppers

¼ cup brown sugar


2 tsp salt


1 tsp pepper


2 tsp garlic powder


2 cups brown rice

HOW TO MAKE IT


Brown beef in pot until cooked through; add peppers, seasonings and remaining ingredients except the rice.


Simmer uncovered for approximately 30 minutes.


Add cooked rice and simmer uncovered for 10 more minutes.
