Easy to make, delicious and healthy; this recipe for pizza burger bake makes the perfect evening meal your family will love.
(Makes two servings.)
WHAT’S IN IT
8 oz. lean ground beef
½ cup bell peppers
2 cloves minced garlic
¼ cup green onions
½ cup mushrooms
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1 ¾ cups zucchini, grated
2 egg whites
4 eggs
1 cup no sugar added marinara sauce
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp sea salt
½ cup low fat mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
Cooking spray

HOW TO MAKE IT
In medium skillet, brown ground beef or ground turkey.
Add green onions, seasoning, bell pepper and mushrooms. Sauté for a few minutes until peppers are tender.
In a sprayed 8x8 baking dish, spread beef mixture in the bottom.
Layer zucchini, mushroom and marinara.
In small bowl whisk eggs and egg whites. Pour eggs over mixture.
*Optional: Top with mozzarella or Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes or until eggs are set.
