If you make one thing this weekend, make this lemon basil pasta from Julie Blanner.

I follow JB on Facebook and when I saw this recipe I was immediately intrigued.

I mean who doesn’t love lemon, basil and pasta?

This recipe is super easy and husband-approved.

Here’s what you need:

3 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon garlic

½ cup white wine (I used Pinot Grigio because that’s what was open.)

Fresh fresh, sliced thin

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 pound pasta (I used linguini)

HOW TO MAKE IT

Bring a large pot of salty water to a boil and prepare pasta al dente; strain.

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic.

Reduce to medium-low heat; add lemon juice and wine. Stir until warm.

Toss pasta with sauce and garnish with fresh grated parmesan and basil.
