These unwanted brothers need committed owners willing to love and train them.

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society are Chad and Dylan, one-year-old male Poodle/Lab mixes.

“These boys were part of an unwanted litter between golden doodle and a labradoodle,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“The owner said they have had their bald spots since birth. We have been giving them meds and they have grown some hair.”

The boys are also on dog food for sensitive skin.

Chad and Dylan walk on a leash, but tend to be all over the place.

“They were never trained or socialized, so they have poor manners and need someone who can commit to training them,” Serena said.

“The vet said there is a possibility that they may have some Xoloitzciuntli in them, due to the hairlessness and missing back teeth.”

Chad and Dylan are neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

They have been at the shelter since August 2023 and do not have to be adopted together.
