The ice left over from last weekend’s winter storm is sticking around, making travel on city and county roads difficult and prompting school officials to cancel classes for the third day this week.
So far, these area school districts have canceled classes for Wednesday, Jan. 28:
Bluff Dale ISD
Comanche ISD
DeLeon ISD
Dublin ISD
Eastland ISD
Glen Rose ISD
Gorman ISD
Granbury ISD
Gustine ISD
Hico ISD
Huckabay ISD
Huston Academy
Lingleville ISD
Lipan ISD
Millsap ISD
Mineral Wells ISD
Morgan Mill ISD
Santo ISD
Stephenville ISD
Tarleton State University (online only)
Three Way ISD
Tolar ISD
White Horse Christian Academy
North Texas is expected to stay cold for the remainder of the week with a Wednesday high of 41 degrees.
Thursday – 49 degrees
Friday – 40 degrees
Saturday – 30 degrees
Temperatures are expected to return into the 50s next week.
