A festival that began as a way to spotlight the local dairy industry has evolved into the biggest event in Erath County.

Moo-La Fest is set to make its return on Thursday, June 4, through Saturday, June 6, at Stephenville City Park.

A crowd favorite - Carnival Americana – will also be back with those famous games, rides and fun houses the whole family will love.

The midway will be open Thursday through Saturday.

Ashley Thomas, the city’s main street manager, said Thursday’s fun will include a concert by The Bellamy Brothers, food and Moove-It race.

The carnival will open Thursday from 4-11 p.m.

The fun will continue Friday with more live music, mini golf, a dueling mechanical bull, bungee trampoline and Western heritage area for kids.

Saturday’s fun will include a cornhole tournament, milking contest, butt sketch artist, mutton bustin’ and live music by Gary P. Nunn.
