Rodeo weekend arrives with three action-packed days!

The Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo takes place Sept. 23-25 at Erath County’s Lone Star Arena, but leading up to the main event is a slew of festivities that are all things cowboy.

Thursday, Sept. 22

• 9 a.m. PRCA Steer Roping Slack @Lone Star Arena

• 6 p.m. WPRA Barrel Racing Slack @Lone Star Arena

Friday, Sept. 23

• 9 a.m. PRCA Timed Event Slack @Lone Star Arena

• 7 p.m. PRCA Rodeo Performance #1 presented by First Financial Bank “American Patriot Night – Honoring all those who serve!” @Lone Star Arena

Saturday, Sept. 24

• 7:30 a.m. Cowboy Capital 5K @Stephenville City Park

• 10 a.m. Cowboy Capital Rodeo Parade (route begins at City Park, up n’ around downtown square & back to park)

• 12 p.m. Special Kids Rodeo @Lone Star Arena

• 7 p.m. PRCA Rodeo Performance #2.

• 9 p.m. Dancin’ in the Dirt Live Music Concert with Jake Hooker and The Outsiders @Lone Star Arena (free admission with rodeo ticket)

Sunday, Sept. 25

• 2 p.m. PRCA Rodeo Performance #3 @Lone Star Arena.
