Teen pleads guilty to 9 counts of possession of child pornography; sentencing hearing set for May.

An Erath County teenager pleaded guilty on Monday to nine counts of possession/promotion of child pornography and will be sentenced by District Court Judge Jason Cashon in May.

Bradley Cadenhead, 17, appeared in court along with his attorney Lucas Lawrence.


Cadenhead was arrested in August 2021 when he was just 16 years old and was later certified to stand trial as an adult.

A jury trial was set to begin on Monday, but late last week Cadenhead and his attorney opted to waive a trial and enter a guilty plea.


Cadenhead was allowed to remain on bond until his May 2 sentencing hearing with instructions that he remain at home with an ankle monitor.
