Take a photo with Santa and shop ‘til you drop at this weekend’s holiday market.

Updated: Nov 1, 2022

The city of Stephenville’s annual holiday market is happening this weekend at the Recreation Hall and going should be on your to-do list.

The two-day event will be held from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday with more than 100 vendors selling everything from home décor and jewelry to clothing and gift ideas.

The event has been completely revamped with a little extra fun happening on Saturday when holiday-themed bounce houses will be open to kids from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and complimentary pictures with Santa from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

And if all that shopping makes you hungry, you’ll find lots of delicious options near the large pavilion with food trucks like Straight from the South Mangonadas, Southern Reflection Kettle Korn, MaBelle’s Bakery & Bistro, Nuestra Cocina (tacos and tamales), Sagebrush Cantina (hot chocolate, eggnog and apple cider), Grubbed and Cotton Candy by Pop-triotic Treats.

VENDOR SPACE STILL AVAILABLE

SPARD recreation coordinator Houston Folmar said vendor space under the large pavilion is still available for $100, which includes electricity.

She said it is the perfect spot for boutiques looking for a place to showcase their holiday clothing.

Vendors must be signed up by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
