T.J.Maxx, Old Navy open at Washington Commons; the rest are coming soon.

Updated: Mar 27, 2022

If you’ve been itching to do a little spring shopping, you’re in luck.

T.J.Maxx and Old Navy are the latest stores to open at Washington Commons.

I received an email from the company’s headquarters on Tuesday and learned that the new store in Stephenville is open on March 27.

“Our newest store in Stephenville will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J.Maxx is known for. Our buyers create a unique mix that offers value for styles in every department, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood,” said T.J.Maxx president Tim Miner. “With a constant flow of new arrivals, we offer an exciting one-stop-shop that makes it easy for consumers to find what they want, take it home that day and save money at the same time.”

T.J.Maxx’s grand opening celebration on Sunday will take place from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. with daylong giveaways.

Old Navy opens today.

“As this development continues its path towards completion, we are seeing an uptick in consumer confidence for the local retail option, as well as an added attraction for more visitors coming to our area,”said Jeff Sandford, executive director of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority “The increased numbers enhance the potential customer base for existing businesses as well, while strengthening Stephenville’s overall economic position.”

And ladies, this is going to call for a hallelujah! Ulta Beauty is expected to open in about four weeks!

The other retailers will open this summer.

If you haven’t stopped by Washington Commons lately, Hobby Lobby, Five Below and Shoe Dept. Encore are already open.

So that’s my big news for the day.

Make it a good one!
