The city of Stephenville is hosting a two-day celebration honoring the legendary “Father of Western Swing.”
The 2nd annual Milton Brown Western Swing Festival will be held Sept. 6-7 at Stephenville City Park.
If you would like to become a food vendor to help feed tons of hungry festival-goers, sign up here.
The free event will include live music from top western swing acts and dancing.
Milton Brown was born in Stephenville on Sept. 8, 1903.
He died at the age of 32 in a single-car accident on Fort Worth’s Jacksboro Highway.

That sounds like such a fun weekend! The Western Swing Festival is the kind of event that brings a whole town together, music, dancing, and great food under the Texas sky. If I lived closer, I’d absolutely sign up as a vendor, my food truck used to do local fairs, and those nights were the best, meeting travelers, hearing fiddles in the distance, everyone smiling. It reminds me of planning summer trips through https://bookvip.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, finding hidden gems you didn’t know existed until you go.
