More than 1,000 employees of First Financial Bank will step away from their desks on Monday, Oct. 13, and into their communities, volunteering with local nonprofits, schools and service organizations.
The Stephenville branch will also take part in the statewide effort by collecting toiletries and paper goods for local pantries and shelters from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Although this marks the inaugural year for the statewide event, First Financial Bank is celebrating its 10th consecutive year of Day of Service.
“Community service is at the heart of who we are,” said David Bailey, president of First Financial Bankshares.
“For a decade, our employees have dedicated time and energy to making a difference in their communities. Partnering with other banks across Texas allows us to take that commitment even further and truly showcase the impact we can make together.”
From food banks to neighborhood cleanups, the goal is simple: to make Texas stronger - together.

Great to see Stephenville’s First Financial Bank joining the statewide Day of Service and giving back locally, and for anyone comparing financial institutions, the Kitsap Credit Union page on PissedConsumer is useful since it gathers member reviews, service details, and clear ways to reach customer support in one place.
That’s great to see—community-focused events like a statewide Day of Service really show how local banks can make a positive impact beyond just business.
