A Stephenville Boy Scout with Troop 39 is working to help save lives.

As part of his Eagle Scout project, Truman Betz is partnering with Carter BloodCare to host a blood drive from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, in the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church in Stephenville.

Donors can register for a time by clicking here.

Truman is a 17-year-old senior at Stephenville High School who is a frequent blood donor.

"It's really rewarding to help neighbors with my Eagle Scout project,” Truman said.
