Nothing says family-fun like the city of Stephenville’s annual Fourth of July celebration.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 4, and kick off with the traditional parade at 9 a.m.

The parade will begin at the south entrance of Stephenville City Park, turn left on Graham Street, left on Washington and left on Harbin where it will come to an end.

Make plans to hang around City Park where food vendors will open at 11 a.m. followed by inflatables and outdoor activities beginning at 1.

Spend the evening listening to great music at Birdsong Amphitheater starting with Presley Haile at 6 p.m.; Larry Joe Taylor and Dave Perez at 7; Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt World Band at 8:15.

The concert is free and you’re invited to bring chairs, blankets and coolers.

The day of fun will culminate with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.

But that’s not all the day has to offer.

The holiday weekend will also include a farmer and artisan market from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the downtown plaza.

There will be live music by Landry Allen.

See you there!
