I love the smell of lavender.
But the taste of it?
Well, turns out I like that too.
I first learned that I enjoyed the taste of lavender while sipping a lavender-inspired martini at Newton’s Saddlerack last summer.
From there, I tried it in a fancy brew from a coffee house and even sipped lavender tea.
So when I stumbled on this bottle of Matteo’s thin lavender syrup at TJ Maxx in Stephenville, I purchased a bottle.
This brand of syrup has zero calories and no sugar, making it the perfect addition to my morning coffee and afternoon cold brew.
Unlike other popular “skinny syrups,” the lavender flavor isn’t as sweet.
It’s fresh, giving springtime vibes that will make you want to bask in the sunlight and sniff the green grass.
I’ll admit, this flavor isn’t for everyone, but if you like the taste of lavender like I do, give it a try and let me know what you think.
