Spookyville: This Halloween event is brewing. Think ghost walks, scavenger hunt, spirits and spells.

Think Halloween is only for kids? Think again.

An upcoming event happening from 6-9 p.m. Saturday in downtown Stephenville is geared to all you adults looking for a night out and a little spooky fun.

Spookyville, a new event hosted by the Stephenville Downtown Merchants, will include ghost walks with the Erath County Paranormal Society at 8 and 9 p.m. beginning at the Rec Hall.

Tickets can be purchased upon arrival for $10 each (cash only).

There will also be a tarot card scavenger hunt from 6-8:15 p.m. on the Belknap side of the downtown square where you can purchase your ticket for $5 (cash only as well).

Oh, and scavenger hunt participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes.

Participating businesses like Newton’s Saddlerack, Hearsay Wine Bar, Cowboy Way Travel, Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council, White Magnolia House, Johnny and June Mercantile, Wild Gringa and Caam’s will host their own unique fun with in-store specials.

And if you’re worried about getting hangry, food trucks like Little Shop of Sweets, Munchies, Shorty’s Chuckwagon and Cowgirl Bagel Co. will be on hand to keep you and all of your friends free from hunger pains.

It’s going to be a fun night to celebrate the season.

See you there!
