Say hi to Tambourine and Havana; they are this week’s featured pets.

Tambourine

By SARA VANDEN BERGE

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Tambourine, a two-year-old female Catahoula mix.

“She is a sweet girl that can be shy in a new environment,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She walks very well on a leash and does well with other dogs and cats.”

Tambourine is microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.

“She is just one of our 88 dogs at the shelter,” Serena said. “Come in and meet all of the other great dogs we have here.”

Havana

Havana is a one-year-old female cat that also needs a home.

“She is very affectionate,” Serena said.

Havana is litter box trained, but likes to make a mess so a covered litter box is recommended.

“She is just one of the 98 cats we have at this time,” Serena said. “And remember, we are having an adoption special this week. Cats are only $10 through Friday.”
