You’ve been exercising and eating clean to get ready for that summer bod.
But sometimes, that sweet tooth needs to be satisfied or the occasion for a gorgeous dessert arrives and this recipe for key lime Bundt cake fixes both.
It’s easy and oh-so-delicious, so go ahead and make it.
You deserve it.
WHAT’S IN IT
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. key lime zest
1/4 cup fresh key lime juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp. key lime juice
1 tbsp. milk
HOW TO MAKE IT
In a stand mixer, beat butter, sugar and key lime zest on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then lime juice until everything is combined.
In separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
Gradually add dry mixture to wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake 50-60 minutes.
Take out of pan and cool completely.
Glaze and enjoy!
