With an average of 35 new confirmed cases per day, Erath County remains under the “extremely high” risk level of COVID-19, according to Covid ACTNOW.
The website also states that as of Jan. 31, there are 11 patients hospitalized locally with three in ICU and that 41.3% of the public has received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Erath County officials have released a new form of reporting COVID-19 that I believe is confusing to readers, so I will be reporting numbers from this website, which uses data from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
