Remember Mattress Firm the cat? The company that shares his name wants to help with the adoption.

You guys…I can’t stop smiling.
I just received the most fantastic email from G’Nai Blakemore, director of public relations for Mattress Firm, who informed me that the little story I wrote on Monday about Mattress Firm the cat caught the company’s attention.
“We saw your story about Mattress Firm, the adorable cat who’s up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society,” G’Nai wrote. “We want to make sure our namesake finds a safe, loving home and we want to help! We’d like to pay the adoption fees and have him neutered for the family that adopts Mattress Firm and send him to his forever home with his favorite thing - a comfy, new cat bed.”
I immediately called ECHS executive director Serena Wright to tell her the news and she is just as excited as I am.
“That’s so cool! I can’t believe it!” she said.
Mattress Firm is a two-year-old adorable male cat that loves toys and a comfy bed.
He loves attention and tends to purr when he’s spoken to. He has also received an FVRCP vaccination, is microchipped and litter box trained.
