Registration underway for SPARD’s youth basketball season. Here’s what you need to know.

Stephenville Parks and Recreation has opened registration for its youth basketball league.

Cost: $75 from Oct 1-27; $100 from Oct 28-30. (Fee includes a jersey and seven-game guarantee)
Age Divisions: 5U Coed, 7U Girls, 7U Boys, 9U Girls, 9U Boys, 11U Girls, 11U Boys, 13U Girls, 13U Boys. (Age as of Sept. 1, 2023)
Coach Look: Girls – Nov. 1 at Rec Hall/Boys – Nov. 6 at Rec Hall
Draft (coaches only): Girls - Nov. 2 at Rec Hall/Boys – Nov. 7 at Rec Hall
Practice: Begins Nov. 6 for girls/Nov. 13 for boys
Games: Begin the week of Nov. 27 (There will be no games from Dec. 19–Jan 5)
Game Locations: Rec Hall, Tarleton Campus Recreation Center, Chamberlin Elementary, Hook Elementary, Central Elementary
Game Dates: 5U - Saturday mornings, 7U girls - Monday nights, 7U boys - Saturday mornings, 9U girls and boy vs- Saturday mornings, 11U girls and boys - Monday nights
Playoffs: End of the season playoff tournament Feb. 2-3. There will be no playoffs held for the 5U age division.
