Registration underway for SPARD’s adult basketball leagues. Here’s what you need to know.
Registration is now underway for SPARD’s adult basketball league, but if you plan to get a team together, you better get going.
The deadline to register for a variety of leagues including Men's Industrial, Men's Open, Women's Open, Co-Ed, Co-Ed Church Industrial and Men's Church Industrial is Friday, Feb. 24.
(Industrial teams must be composed of players that are represented by a company or business.)
Recreation coordinator Houston Folmar said online registration is not available and must be done at SPARD’s office, located inside the Recreation Hall at 378 West Long Street in Stephenville.
The office is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Games will begin the first week of March and end the last week in April.
Mondays: Women's League, Industrial League.
Tuesdays: Men's Open League, Church League.
Thursdays: Men's Open League, Co-Ed League.
There will be a meeting for coaches at the Rec Hall at 6 p.m. Feb. 27.
